Belarusian Written Language Day begins in Smorgon.

Anna Sautkina reports: The ceremonies started early in the morning with the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Transfiguration. The opening memorial to Frantishek Bagushevich - the hero of the day of writing, founder of modern Belarusian literature - was held at noon. The winners of the national contest "Art of Book".
