This year’s Eurovision Song Contest postcards will be recorded in two stages. The first part of each postcard will be shot by the TV companies of the 43 participating countries. The second part of each postcard will be shot by the contest organisers in May, when all the delegations arrive in Kiev. The postcards will focus on the artists’ sincere emotions.

This has been announced by Belteleradiocompany and European Broadcasting Union (EBU) project coordinator Olga Salamakha, a representative of Belarus’ official delegation who is taking part in a traditional and obligatory meeting of Eurovision delegation heads in the Ukrainian capital on 13-14 March.

At the meeting, the Belarusian delegation provided the organisers with an entire package of materials necessary for the participation of Belarus’ official representatives in the international contest.

In turn, the organisers presented the concept and stage design of the show to the meeting participants and conducted a tour of the International Exhibition Centre, the contest venue.

The Belteleradiocompany representatives have held talks with the technical staff and discussed a mutual promotion programme with the heads of the delegations of the countries participating in the second semifinal along with Belarus.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest final will take place in Kiev on 13 May and the semifinals are scheduled for 9 and 11 May. NAVIBAND will perform in the second part of the second semifinal along with the representatives of Macedonia, Malta, the Netherlands, Serbia, Denmark, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, Estonia, Israel, Bulgaria, San Marino, Lithuania, Croatia and Norway.

Ukraine will be hosting the contest for the second time. Eurovision 2017 will feature a total of 43 participating countries.

The two semifinals and the final will traditionally be broadcast live on Belteleradiocompany’s TV channel Belarus 1 and satellite channel Belarus 24.
