House of Representatives to consider 19 bills
Today the House of Representatives will consider amendments to the law on the protection of archaeological artifacts in the first reading. In the second reading the deputies will discuss the additions and changes to the law on the fight against terrorism. The Tax Code, the Law "On Medicines" and others, a total of 19 bills expect adjustments. The MPs will also discuss a number of ratifications. A free trade agreement between the EEU and Vietnam is among them.
CIS Plenipotentiaries to discuss CIS economic development strategy for 2020
CIS economic development strategy for 2020 will be discussed today in Minsk. Also, the CIS Plenipotentiaries will sum up the results of the previous program. Among the main areas are economic and trade cooperation, the development of markets of services, labor and capital. Particular attention will be paid to cooperation in energy, industry and space exploration. In addition, the CIS Plenipotentiaries will present proposals to the draft agenda of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Council of Heads of CIS member states. The summits will be held in Bishkek in September.
Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus celebrates its 83rd birthday with Doors Open Day
Bolshoi Theatre invites guests behind the scenes. At noon it will open its doors to fans of opera and ballet. In the lobby the guests will be met by guides who will conduct them to workshops, hidden from the public eye. Also meetings with the chief director, conductor, choirmaster, artistic director of the ballet, opera soloists will be held. All three thousand doors of the theater will be opened during the five-hour tour. It will be possible to see the work of the make-up artists, prop makers, and see how ballet shoes are made. Open Doors Day is dedicated to the birthday of the troupe. Today the Bolshoi Theatre marks its 83rd anniversary.
