Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk 2006
 International festival "Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk", July 6-14.
Musicians, performers and journalists will meet at a grandiose cultural forum timed to 15th anniversary of the festival and 10th anniversary of Russia-Belarus Union State.
The National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus is a traditional partner of the festival for many years. This year Belteleradiocompany will be the principal broadcaster of Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk.
Belteleradiocompany plans to cover all major events of the festival. You can learn the hottest news of the festival and see live broadcasts on the First National TV Channel, TV channels "LAD" and "Belarus-TV", First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio, radio channel "Culture", radio stations "Belarus", "Stolitsa", "Radius FM" and TV Infoservice.
The program of the First National Channel includes opening and closing ceremonies of "Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk", gala-concerts of Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian performers , a contest of young pop performers "Vitebsk 2006", a jubilee contest of the popular Belarusian singers Yadviga Poplavskaya and Alexander Tikhanovich "Love and Destiny", a concert of Russian composer Kim Breitburg "Two sisters, Belarus and Russia", timed to the 10th anniversary of Belarus-Russia Unity Day, a gala concert, dedicated by National Concert Orchestra of Belarus, directed by Mikhail Finberg. Following its old traditions Belteleradiocompany will record all the principal events of the festival night concerts and demonstrate them on the First National TV Channel and TV channel "LAD".
Live broadcasts of the festival concerts by the First National TV Channel and TV channel "LAD" will be demonstrated on large screen at Oktyabrskaya Square in Minsk downtown.
In conformity to the agreements on cooperation, signed with Belteleradiocompany, Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk will be covered TV companies from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Poland and Bulgaria. The residents of other countries will be able to see the festival through satellite TV channel "Belarus-TV". Representatives of the European Broadcasting Union will take part in the work of the festival as well.
